Bolt free build weekend gives every account GLM 5.3 Flash on October 17 and 18, plus a $10,000 contest
From October 17 at 12:00am PT to October 18 at 11:59pm PT, every Bolt account can use GLM 5.3 Flash for free in the model picker, with no plan change or code. The allowance refreshes in six-hour blocks, and paid plans get five times more per block. The Builders Week contest takes entries until October 20, with a $10,000 grand prize.
The briefing
Bolt is running Builders Week, and it opens with a free build weekend. Every Bolt account gets GLM 5.3 Flash free in the model picker, with no plan change and no code to redeem.
What you get
- The free window runs from Saturday, October 17 at 12:00am PT to Sunday, October 18 at 11:59pm PT.
- Free, personal paid, and Teams accounts all qualify. On Teams, every member gets their own allowance.
- The free allowance comes in six-hour blocks. A block starts when you open Bolt, and your first visit after it ends starts the next one. Missed blocks do not carry over.
- Paid plans get five times the free allowance in every block and can keep building on their regular plan tokens in between.
- GLM 5.3 Flash is the only free model that weekend, and standard rate limits apply.
How to use it
- Sign in to Bolt during the free window, pick GLM 5.3 Flash in the model picker, and start building.
- If you use up a block, wait for the next six-hour block, or switch back to your plan tokens on a paid account.
The $10,000 contest
Builders Week also has a contest. Submissions are open from October 13 to October 20. Build a business idea in Bolt or grow one you already run; the project does not have to be new. The grand prize is $10,000 plus a 1:1 mentoring session with Bolt CEO Eric Simons, second prize is $5,000, and third prize is $2,500.
No purchase is necessary. Individuals must be 18 or older, teams and organizations can enter, and each entrant gets one entry. Winners are announced on or about October 31. From October 20 to 23 there is also a founder Q&A plus live workshops on SEO, growth, and design.
Full details are on the Builders Week page.
