Glyph Cluster stealth reasoning model free on Vercel AI Gateway for Pro and Enterprise teams
Glyph Cluster, a new stealth reasoning model on Vercel AI Gateway, is free during its stealth period. Vercel Pro and Enterprise teams with purchased AI Gateway credits can call stealth/glyph-cluster now. It has a 256K context window and is built for coding, debugging, and long-document analysis, and it works in Claude Code, Codex, and other coding agents.
The briefing
Vercel AI Gateway added Glyph Cluster on October 7, 2026. It is an anonymous stealth model, so the provider has not been named yet. It is a reasoning model focused on coding and long-context analysis, and calls are free during the stealth period.
What you can use
Vercel Pro and Enterprise teams that have purchased AI Gateway credits can call Glyph Cluster for free while it is in stealth. No end date for the stealth period has been announced.
The model ID is stealth/glyph-cluster, with a 256K-token context window and up to 256K output tokens. For coding, it can review code, explain failures, debug issues, and propose changes. For long inputs, it handles planning, synthesis, quantitative reasoning, and comparing material across large documents. It supports function calling and streaming, so agents can connect its reasoning to your own tools.
It accepts text input only, with no image or file input. Tool use is limited to function tools you define, and structured outputs are not supported. Zero Data Retention (ZDR) is not available, and prompts and responses may be used for training and model improvement.
How to use it
- Sign in to Vercel and create an AI Gateway API key on a Pro or Enterprise team.
- Call it through the AI SDK or the OpenAI-compatible Chat Completions and Responses APIs at
https://ai-gateway.vercel.sh/v1, with modelstealth/glyph-cluster. - To use it in Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor, run
npm i -g vercel@latestandvercel ai-gateway setup, then pick Glyph Cluster in the model list.
