Google Deep Review gives every user 2 free document reviews each week

#Google#Gemini#Free#Free credits

Google Research opened Deep Review to the public. Sign in with a Google account for two complimentary document reviews each week on Gemini 4 Argon Medium. For higher volume, add your own Gemini API key and pay only standard model usage.

The briefing

Google Research opened Deep Review to everyone. It reviews dense writing such as research papers, design docs, legal text, and financial materials with a multi-agent pipeline that segments the document, checks logic and math in parallel, then grounds claims against external sources.

What you get

Every user gets two free document reviews per week on Gemini 4 Argon Medium. After that weekly allowance, you can paste your own Gemini API key and pay only the usual Gemini API rates for extra runs. Deep Review itself does not add a separate product fee. Google’s guide for a roughly 40-page document ranges from about $3 on 3.8 Flash Low to about $20 on 4 Argon Extra High; real spend depends on length and the setting you pick.

The free allowance refreshes weekly. There is no separate calendar end date on the free tier.

What you can use

Deep Review accepts PDFs, plain text, Google Docs, and Google Slides. It splits the file into logical sections, runs deep checks in parallel, and returns a single synthesis. Before the public launch it powered author-feedback pilots at STOC, ICML, NeurIPS, ICLR, and AISTATS, covering more than 15,000 papers.

Uploaded files stay encrypted for up to one year so you can reopen results. They are not used for model training unless you opt in to help improve Deep Review.

How to use

  1. Open the Deep Review portal and sign in with the Google account that should receive the weekly allowance.
  2. Upload a PDF or paste text, and add optional custom context if you need it.
  3. After submission, open the review from Your documents.
  4. When the two free reviews for the week are used up, save your Gemini API key on the page and keep going as needed.
