Mistral Pro for students and teachers at $5.99 a month, with $15 in monthly API credits

Mistral's Pro plan has an Education version for students and teachers. Once you verify your school email, it costs $5.99 a month instead of the regular $14.99. It is the same Pro plan at a discount, and it comes with $15 in API credits each month.

What you get

• The same message, web search, and image generation limits as Pro, all-day coding with Mistral Vibe in the CLI, IDE, or on the web, plus chat and email support.
• $15 in monthly API credits for Mistral models. Regular Pro includes $30, so the Education plan gets half.
• The $5.99 monthly price excludes taxes.

Who qualifies

• Students and teachers whose school issues them an institutional email address.
• Personal addresses such as Gmail, iCloud, or Outlook cannot be used for verification, and student IDs or enrollment letters do not replace a school email.
• If your school's email domain is not recognized, you can send the domain to Mistral support and ask for a review.
• If your school does not provide institutional email addresses, you are not eligible.

How to sign up

1. Open the Mistral Education plan page.
2. Create a new account with your school email, or change the email on your existing account to your school email first.
3. Verify the email, then subscribe at $5.99 a month.
