What you get
Morph gives students a full year of free access. For 12 months after you're verified, you can use the complete Morph API with every model included, and no credit card is needed.
Morph runs inference built for coding agents. Besides its own models for Fast Apply (quick code edits), WarpGrep (code search) and Compact (context compression), it serves chat models such as GLM-5.3, GLM-5.3-Flash, DeepSeek V4.1 Flash and Qwen 3.8 through one OpenAI-compatible API, so it plugs straight into most coding tools.
Morph hasn't published a monthly cap for the student plan. For comparison, the regular free tier gives 250K credits a month (about $2.50), and the paid Starter plan costs $20 a month.
Who can claim it
Current students only. Morph checks your school email and enrollment through SheerID, and access opens once you're approved.
How to claim
- Open the Morph students page and sign in or create a Morph account.
- Fill in your school details and complete student verification with SheerID.
- Once approved, create an API key in the dashboard and call the models the OpenAI-compatible way.
