OpenDesign doubled DeepSeek V4.1 Flash credits on every paid plan. Go is $8 for your first month on a new monthly subscription, then $10 a month, and includes up to $120 a month of DeepSeek V4.1 Flash usage plus an API key you can use in OpenCode and other tools.

The briefing

OpenDesign is an open-source AI design workspace that just passed 100K GitHub stars. To celebrate, it doubled DeepSeek V4.1 Flash credits across every paid plan and dropped the entry-level Go plan to $8 for the first month.

What you get

Go is $8 for your first month, then $10 a month. Yearly billing is $84 a year ($7 a month equivalent) but doesn't get the first-month price. The first-month offer applies only to new monthly subscriptions, once per account.

After the boost, Go includes up to $120 a month of DeepSeek V4.1 Flash usage, up from $60. Higher tiers doubled too: up to $160 on Plus, $360 on Pro, and $600 on Max. Those plans also have first-month pricing: Plus is $16 for the first month (then $20), Pro is $70, and Max is $120.

Credits are granted per billing cycle and don't roll over. There's also a 7-day usage window that starts when you subscribe and resets every 7 days.

What you can use

Go credits cover the Design Plan models. Besides DeepSeek V4.1 Flash, that includes Claude Haiku 5.5, GPT-6 Luna, GLM-5.3 Flash, MiMo V2.6 Flash and Pro, Kimi K2.7 Code, DeepSeek V4 Pro, Hunyuan H4 Preview, and more. They share one allowance, and other models get a smaller monthly amount; on Go, GLM-5.3 Flash and DeepSeek V4 Pro work out to about $60 a month.

Go doesn't include credits for premium models such as Claude Opus 5.5 or GPT-6 Sol; those need Plus or higher.

Every paid plan comes with an API key that works in OpenCode, Claude Code, Codex, and Hermes, and API calls draw from the same credits as the OpenDesign app. The Free plan has no hosted model credits and supports only a local CLI or your own provider keys.

How to get it

  1. Open the OpenDesign pricing page and subscribe to Go monthly at the $8 first-month price.
  2. Create an API key in the OpenDesign Cloud console, add it to OpenCode or another tool, and pick DeepSeek V4.1 Flash.
