GMI Cloud extends free Hy Image 3.5 Preview to October 8 with no balance required
GMI Cloud extended free access to Tencent Hunyuan's Hy Image 3.5 Preview by another week, for 14 days in total. It's free until October 8 at 11:59 PM PT, needs no account balance, and works in the Playground, over MCP and through the API.

GMI Cloud's free window for Tencent Hunyuan's Hy Image 3.5 Preview was first set to end on October 1, then got extended by another week. That makes 14 days in total, and it stays free until October 8 at 11:59 PM PT. You don't need any balance in your account: sign up, log in and start generating. Standard pricing applies after the window closes.
What you can use
Hy Image 3.5 Preview is Tencent Hunyuan's image model, listed on GMI Cloud as hy-image-v3.5-preview. It takes text and images as input, handles both generation and editing, outputs at 1K to 2K, accepts up to 5 reference images per call, and takes about 20 seconds per image. Text rendering and layout hold up well, which makes it a good fit for posters, infographics, product shots and game art.
Calls from the Playground, the MCP server and the API are all free during the window. The regular price is about $0.024 per image.
There's also a Hy Image challenge running alongside the free window, with three tracks (Type & Layout, Commercial, Game Art). Each track winner gets cash plus GMI Cloud credits, $1,800 in total across the three. Entries close at the same time, October 8 at 11:59 PM PT.
