The briefing

LightVela, built by Tencent Lighthouse, runs a Hermes Agent in the cloud around the clock. You can reach it through Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord and Slack, as well as WeChat, QQ, Lark and DingTalk. Its global site is priced in US dollars, and new users get their first month free.

What you get

  • New users can take the Launch AI plan free for one month on their first order. The plan normally costs $10 a month and includes 4,500 AI credits per month, 2 vCPUs, 8 GB of RAM, 50 GB of cloud storage and up to 5 bots.
  • If you plan to bring your own model API key, the basic Launch plan is also free for the first month. It lists at $6.50 a month and includes only 100 trial credits.
  • For more resources, Cruise AI is 40% off for the first month at $13.80 instead of $23, with 4 vCPUs, 16 GB of RAM, 80 GB of storage and 10,000 credits a month.
  • The free month applies to your first order only. A plan stops working one day after it expires, data is kept for 14 days, and continuing means renewing at the list price.

How to claim

  1. Sign in on the LightVela global site; a Google account works.
  2. Open the Subscribe page, pick the Launch plan with 4,500 credits and place your first order.
  3. Once it is active, chat with your agent on the web right away. The plan includes credits, so you don't need to set up a model first.

Plan and credit rules are in the Plans docs and the Credits docs.
