Tencent Cloud OrcaTerm: limited-time free AI operations credits, including K3
#Tencent Cloud#OrcaTerm
Tencent Cloud OrcaTerm includes an AI operations assistant with limited-time free model credits, including reported K3 access. The terminal is permanently free; AI questions consume credits, and exhausting them does not interrupt SSH.
The briefing
Tencent Cloud's OrcaTerm terminal is available at orcaterm.cloud.tencent.com.
It combines SSH / RDP, file management and batch operations with an AI assistant that reads terminal context, writes or explains operations commands, and helps troubleshoot errors. Community users reported limited-time free credits for built-in models, with some seeing K3, DeepSeek or GLM models.
Getting started
- Open OrcaTerm and sign in to a Tencent Cloud account.
- Connect to your server. A local client is also available; the product page describes local execution and offline connections to internal networks.
- Ask an operations question in the AI panel; a commonly shown shortcut is Ctrl+I. Credits are deducted per question, rather than by connection time.
Conditions
- Basic terminal features are permanently free. The limited-time offer applies to built-in AI calls. Once credits run out, AI questions stop working, but SSH stays connected.
- The AI focuses on operations tasks and generally declines casual chat or copywriting. You can connect a custom API key for broader use.
- The source discussion does not give a fixed deadline for the limited-time or limited-quantity credits. Quotas may change; check the model list after signing in.
- Review high-risk commands yourself before running them.
