MiniMax launched its new M3.1 Flash model with two perks. Until October 31, new subscribers and upgraders get 50% off the first month of a monthly M Plan, so Go is $11 instead of $22. Until October 25, every MiniMax Code subscriber can use M3.1 Flash with no usage caps.

The briefing

MiniMax just released its new model, M3.1 Flash, launching first in MiniMax Code, and it comes with two limited-time perks. If you haven't subscribed yet, your first month of M Plan is half price; if you already have a subscription, you can use the new model without caps this week.

What you get

  • Until October 25, 23:59 (UTC+8), every MiniMax Code subscriber can use M3.1 Flash with no usage caps.
  • Until October 31, 23:59 (UTC+8), new M Plan subscribers and anyone upgrading to M Plan get 50% off their first month. Regular pricing applies from the second month.
  • On the global site, monthly prices are $22 for Go, $55 for Explore and $132 for Build, so the first month works out to $11, $27.50 and $66.
  • Explore and Build give you 3x and 7.5x the usage of Go and include the H3 video model. Your M Plan API key also works in Claude Code, Cursor, OpenCode and other tools you already use.

Specs and public benchmarks

  • M3.1 Flash runs nearly 3x faster than the previous generation, with everyday output above 200 tokens per second, and agent tasks cost 70% less.
  • In MiniMax's announcement it scores 73.7% on DeepSWE v1.1, 61.7 on OSWorld V2 and 82% on CyberGym.

How to sign up

  1. Open the MiniMax M Plan page, pick a monthly Go, Explore or Build plan, and subscribe or upgrade. The first month is charged at half price.
  2. Download MiniMax Code, sign in, and switch the model to M3.1 Flash.
  3. If you only want one month, turn off auto-renewal before the next billing date.

Plan details are in the M Plan overview.
