Google AI Pro now includes Colab benefits and about 200 monthly CCUs

Google is rolling Colab premium benefits into paid Google AI Pro and Ultra subscriptions.

What is included

• Paid Google AI Pro: about 200 Colab Compute Units (CCUs) per month and priority access to faster accelerators
• Google AI Ultra: background execution and premium GPU capabilities in addition to the Pro-level benefits
• The rollout is staged across countries and regions; trial memberships are not treated as paid subscriptions

How to check your account

1. Confirm that the Google account has a paid AI Pro or Ultra plan, not only a trial.
2. Open Google Colab with the same account.
3. Check the runtime and usage panels for the new CCU balance or premium hardware options.

The official rollout is gradual, so a missing benefit may simply mean that the account or region has not been enabled yet. See the Google announcement for current terms.
