IFM K2 Horizon reasoning model API is free with 10M tokens a day

IFM (Institute of Foundation Models) is a foundation-model research institute in the UAE. Its K2 Horizon is an open-weight reasoning model built for agentic tool use and long-horizon tasks. The hosted API serves the 375B-total, 23B-active MoE version through an OpenAI-compatible endpoint. Sign up on the IFM platform, create an API key and start calling it right away. The official docs list no prices, only a daily token allowance.

What you get

• Each API key gets 10 million tokens per day, counting input and output together, reset daily at 00:00 UTC.
• Some users report their dashboard shows a 30 million daily allowance, more than the docs state, so go by what your own account shows.
• Requests past the daily cap return 429 until the next reset.
• The weights are also open on Hugging Face if you would rather self-host.

How to claim

1. Open the IFM Platform, sign up and log in.
2. Create an API key on the API Keys page and store it safely.
3. Set the base URL to https://api.ifm.ai/v1 and the model to IFM/K2-Horizon-375B-A23B. It works with the OpenAI SDK and any coding tool that supports a custom endpoint. IFM recommends temperature 1.0 and top_p 0.95.
