OpenAI Codex Ambassadors applications are open with Pro, Codex, and API credits for selected builders

#OpenAI#Codex#ChatGPT Pro

OpenAI is recruiting Codex Ambassadors among event organizers, content creators, and power users. Selected ambassadors serve for six months and receive a ChatGPT Pro subscription plus Codex and API credits, with possible event support for approved meetups. Students cannot apply to this program and should look at Student Collective instead.

The briefing

OpenAI opened the Codex Ambassadors program for event organizers, content creators, and power users who bring builders together and feed community perspectives back to the product team. The term runs for six months, and applications are open now.

What you get

Selected ambassadors receive:

A ChatGPT Pro subscription, plus Codex and API credits.

For approved, eligible events, OpenAI may also support attendee Codex and API credits, food and drink, hackathon prizes, and custom swag where possible.

You also get direct feedback channels with the OpenAI team, regular office hours with Developer Experience Community, and possible invitations to official events such as DevDay. Event tickets are not guaranteed.

The program is voluntary and unpaid. Students are not accepted into Codex Ambassadors at this time; OpenAI points them to Student Collective instead.

Which path to choose

The Event path fits people who already host local meetups, workshops, or hackathons, especially events with 50 or more attendees.

The Content path fits builders who ship public Codex projects and turn them into demos, tutorials, or timely posts after major releases.

Once you are in the program you can contribute to both. Ambassadors need at least one useful contribution each month.

How to apply

  1. Read the Codex Ambassadors page for paths and values.
  2. Fill out the Codex Ambassadors application form.
  3. Record a short video of about 30 seconds and share public examples of past events, recaps, or content.

Applications are reviewed for experience, examples, program fit, and location coverage. Priority regions currently include North America, Central America, Africa, the Middle East, and Eastern Europe, but other regions can still apply.

See the Codex Ambassadors page for full details.
