The X Subscription launches with 50% off the first month on Premium, Super, and Ultra, unifying Grok, Cursor, and X Premium
Grok, Cursor, and X Premium are now one plan called The X Subscription. Premium, Super, and Ultra are 50% off for the first month: $15 for Premium, $50 for Super, and $100 for Ultra, then regular price from month two. Paid tiers share one usage pool across Cursor, Grok Build, and Grok.
The briefing
Grok, Cursor, and X Premium were merged into a single plan on October 12, called The X Subscription. It comes in four tiers, Plus, Premium, Super, and Ultra, and right now the Premium, Super, and Ultra tiers are 50% off for your first month. If you've been meaning to try Grok Bot or a paid Cursor plan, this is a cheap way to test it for a month.
What you get
- Premium is normally $30 a month and costs $15 for the first month. It has 4x the usage of Plus and includes Grok Bot, Cursor cloud agents and automations, Bugbot code reviews, and Grok image and video generation.
- Super is normally $100 a month and costs $50 for the first month. It has 15x the usage of Plus and gives you priority model access at peak times.
- Ultra is normally $200 a month and costs $100 for the first month. It has 50x the usage of Plus and gets the earliest access to new products and models.
The discount covers the first month only; after that the plan renews at the regular price. Prices exclude tax. Plus is $8 a month, includes Grok models only, and doesn't include Grok Bot.
How usage works
Paid tiers share one usage pool across Cursor, Grok Build, Grok Chat, Voice, Imagine, and the Grok API, and it refreshes weekly. Coding with Grok models in Cursor gives you twice the usage of the equivalent Cursor plan. Third-party models are no longer included in the allowance on the new plans; in Cursor they're billed separately at API list price.
If you already pay for Cursor, SuperGrok, or X Premium, you can keep your current plan with the same price and features. To move to The X Subscription, switch from your subscription settings, and your old plan is canceled.
