Google AI Pro for college students at 75% off, for up to 4 years

#Google#Gemini

College students verified through SheerID can subscribe to Google AI Pro at 25% of the regular price and keep that rate for up to 4 years. That's ¥720 a month in Japan, ₩7,300 in South Korea and €5.49 in Spain, versus about $19.99 a month at full price.

The briefing

Google has a long-running student discount on Google AI Pro. Students pay 25% of the regular price, and you can keep it for up to 4 consecutive years while you're still enrolled. AI Pro includes higher Gemini usage limits, Deep Research, expanded Gemini Notebook limits and 5 TB of storage, and normally costs about $19.99 a month.

What you get

  • The student price is 25% of the regular price: ¥720 a month in Japan, ₩7,300 in South Korea, €5.49 in Spain, ₱275 in the Philippines, and $4.99 a month in markets billed in US dollars.
  • You re-verify through SheerID about every 12 months, for up to 4 consecutive years. When your student status ends, or if you skip re-verification, the plan moves to regular-priced Google AI Pro.
  • Students in many countries, including Japan, South Korea, Spain and the Philippines, can sign up. US college students get a free year of Google AI Pro instead, and the offer isn't available in Albania, Bolivia, Canada, Hong Kong, Macau or Tunisia.
  • You need a personal Google account (school-issued accounts are not eligible) and a payment method at sign-up.

How to sign up

  1. Sign in with a personal Google account and open the Google One student offers page.
  2. Pick the Google AI Pro student offer and verify your student status through SheerID with your school email.
  3. Add a payment method and finish the subscription.

If you don't need that much usage, college students outside the US can also get a free year of Google AI Plus until December 31, 2026. US college students can look at the free 1-year Google AI Pro student plan, and if you also want YouTube Premium, see the $8.99-a-month student bundle.

Full terms are on the Google One student offer help page and in Google's student offer announcement.
