Google AI Pro + YouTube Premium student bundle for $8.99 a month, for up to 4 years

#Google#Gemini#YouTube

College students verified through SheerID can bundle Google AI Pro with an individual YouTube Premium membership for $8.99 a month in the US, compared with $35.98 a month for both separately. The bundle is open to students in 80+ countries, and you can keep the student price for up to 4 years as long as you re-verify each year.

The briefing

College students can now get Google AI Pro and an individual YouTube Premium membership together for $8.99 a month. In the US the two cost $35.98 a month when bought separately, so the bundle saves you more than 70%. Students in over 80 countries can sign up.

What you get

  • Everything in Google AI Pro, including higher Gemini usage limits and 5 TB of storage, plus YouTube Premium with ad-free viewing, background play and offline downloads.
  • In the US the bundle costs $8.99 a month; other countries are billed at local prices.
  • You keep the student price while you are a student. Re-verify through SheerID about once every 12 months, for up to 4 consecutive years.
  • When your student status ends, or if you skip re-verification, the plan moves to regular-priced Google AI Pro.
  • The bundle is not available in Canada, Hong Kong, Macau or Bolivia.

How to sign up

  1. Sign in with a personal Google account and open the Google One student offers page. School-issued accounts are not eligible.
  2. Pick the Google AI Pro with YouTube Premium Student bundle and verify your student status through SheerID with your school email.
  3. Add a payment method and finish the subscription.

If you already pay for Google AI Pro, switching to the student bundle takes effect right away and you get a prorated refund for the rest of your billing cycle. US college students can also look at the free 1-year Google AI Pro student plan first. The free trial does not include YouTube Premium, and once you move from the trial to a paid plan you cannot go back to the trial.

Full terms are in the Google One student offer help page and the YouTube blog announcement.
